dan dalam banyak project spec, ia juga dipanggil IR atau WIR.

(Jangan confuse dengan RFI = Request for Information — itu untuk clarification.)

Ramai inspector baru tanya:

“RFI ni untuk apa?”

“Bila kena submit?”

“Nama lain dia apa?”

𝗔𝗽𝗮 𝗜𝘁𝘂 𝗥𝗙𝗜?

RFI / IR / WIR ialah permohonan rasmi & contract-based daripada contractor kepada client/consultant untuk datang witness, verify atau sign-off kerja yang telah siap dan ready for inspection.

RFI dirujuk kepada:

• ITP – Inspection & Test Plan (hold, witness, surveillance, review)

• drawing, specification & method statement.

Ramai client tetapkan RFI mesti dihantar 24 jam sebelum inspection, dan kerja tak boleh diteruskan jika inspection point sebelum itu belum approved.

Flow mudah:

Contractor siap kerja → Inspector verify → Submit RFI → Client witness → Baru proceed.

4. Contract Control – kerja tak boleh proceed tanpa approval.

5. Client Requirement – major Oil & Gas clients jadikan wajib.
